First off. If someone is at B/J and thinks this is a Yenko car shame on them. Who actually owns the Yenko Name and Rights??? I would hope that if someone is looking to buy any Yenko stuff they would inform themselves. There is a sucker born every minute

I know it's hard to take Alan, but after seeing these 'clones' for years.... it's not worth the effort. Cars like these certainly dilute the impact of the real yenko cars, but on a positive note, they also increase awareness that cars like the Yenko Deuce even existed. I still get people telling me at shows that they never knew Don made a Yenko Nova. However, sometimes the awareness is born by the new owner who just became 'aware' that his great buy is a fake. Buyer beware.

Looks like a really cool car to me. I'd take the stripes off if I owed it.

Hey Marlin,
Yes, I know that it is always "buyer beware", but it just really ticks me off when a company like B/J offers these cars for auction without really knowing what they are doing. Yet, they always claim to be such a great authority when it comes to selling "quality" cars and here they are allowing somone to sell a complete fake. They are as much at fault for selling a car like this because a lot of buyers tend to put their faith in the so called reputation of a company like Barrett-Jackson.
It's good to hear from you and I hope your Deuce is still running as good as ever, and you too.

Well said Alan. We missed you at SCR9 - maybe we can take a stroll down the track at SCR10 It's dedicated to Yenko this year, we need all the deuces we can get - trying to get one of each color and outnumber the Yenko Camaros!

It's presented as a Re-Creation not a real car

I agree...this looks to be a killer car....one very worthy for the Power Tour. Love the exterior and interior. Who ever built the car...well done. The BJ folks say its a clone...no harm done.

Dan.
