Well, I was being facetious, but Galen doesn't make those claims. Those claims come from his registry or from magazines that don't know what they're talking about.

There's a Champaigne RAIV ragtop at the Russo and Steele auction in Scottsdale coming up. Unless Jim goes through all 40 invoices and finds out how many were trimmed like this car, I don't believe any of it.

What a coincidence, about 7 posts back Stefano posted..”We have a very nice RA IV rag top 4 speed GTO, possibly one of one color combo going to Arizona for auction! “

I may have answered my own question
http://www.russoandsteele.com/collec...a_iv/6877.html

"Pontiac Historical has told us that this may be the only GTO RAIV sold in this striking color combination."

Frank,I bought it out of the local trader and kept it for a while. It was painted Warwick blue when I had it and the guy had it for over 20 years. sold local to us also. Like an idiot because i dont like convertibles I took it to carlisle and volo bought it there. If i told you how little i got for it you would be as sick as me.
Im sure it will fetch a nice buck now.
