PHS has the files for each car on micro-fiche. You send them money and your vin and they make photo copies of what they have on your car and send it to you.

While on the subject, don't forget similar microfish derived documents are available for Canadian built GM cars or US Built vehicles shipped into Canada. .
Contact Canadian GM Vintage Services and they'll run a Vin for less than $50...not sure if they ding you the dough if the Vin is a no-go? . George Zapora there is a great guy....he haunts this site occasionally as vintagegz. George Zapora Ph: 905-440-7636 Toll Free: 888-467-6853 Fax 905-644-5436 Email: [email protected]. ~ Pete ![]()

[/ QUOTE ]Already had my PHS for my GTO, but I tried getting more info (originally delivered to Quebec). Unfortunately they didn't have anything, but they didn't charge me and were actually disappointed that they couldn't be of service! |

A while back, when I sent for 1967 Impala info from George Z. he answered me:"We can do US cars from 1977 and newer". The way I understand it, you can get documentation from Canada on for example a 1977 Camaro that was built and sold in the US.

He got me the info on my 1987 IROC Z28 that was delivered in PA, one of the last to be built out of the Norwood plant. The microfiche wasn't too clear so they credited me back the charges on my mastercard and sent me the whole package free of charge. Very nice.

This is correct. I have a friend who had this done by George for his 87 Grand National. Gave him all kinds of stuff with the packet..

Thanks for that info. I guess Chevy dropped the ball on preserving similar data.
