I don't think the 71 and 72 Chevelles had these brackets that are pointed out in red below. |

I think it is a 68-69 Olds Cutlass but the color has me questioning that. Verdoro Green? compare here and here

I think you may be right Rick after seeing the first picture you linked. Like you say, an unusual color for the Olds if that is it. |

My guess would have been a 71-72 Skylark Convertible. They made quite a few in this color. Dan.

Cant be a convertible with an upper package tray and speaker mounting holes. That's where the top mechanism would go. We need to start a new thread: "ID the unknown junker" |

[b] When we were in high school, we took a push button 413 out of a Chrysler that looked like this and put it in a '41 Willys that I had bought from a local body shop for $35!! - - - - - 300 Series - - - - - I guess the Monte I saw on the hook a couple weeks ago wasn't this one that still sits on Rt. 100 just north of Eagle. - - - - What the?? - - - - '53 Ford P/U - - - - - - This Vair was parked here almost 15 years ago - It still is amazingly complete down to the hub caps! - - - - - - This is not really rotting, but is my friend Earl's daily driver. Earl's been a hot rodder for ever building and still owning a '34 Ford and old COE home built ramp truck and an almost complete Opel with an old hemi and all the other wild stuff - Earl's a white collar guy who decided a couple years ago, why only drive the cool stuff on the weekend. He drives this primed out pick up everywhere, complete with an ever changing load of period speed equipment in the bed. COOL!! - - - - - - -
