As Bruce pointed out above, my Chevelle is an LS-5 (360HP) car. I searched for nearly 5 years for a triple white Chevelle. When I came across this one, it had an incorrect black interior so I almost passed it over. For no particular reason, I asked the seller to give me the cowl tag info and to my surprise it had a 791 (bucket, ivory) interior code. Within a week, I reached an agreement with the owner on a price.

As of yet, I've still not gotten around to putting the right interior in it, but hopefully this year. There's always something that comes up that makes me put off doing the upholstery.

It is numbers-matching with the exception of the trans (which is a TH-400 out of a '74 Corvette), and the hard-to-find 1111963 distributor is also missing.

The vinyl had destroyed the roof, so an entire roof skin swap was done, and new vinyl was never put back on the car. I think it looks much sharper without the vinyl myself. It received NOS front fenders, doors, quarter panels, trunk lid, and seat covers, to name a few things. It was a frame off restoration as the pics show. Take a look.
