I thought these yards were in business to make money??
You would think people this close to the business would have an idea of what is worth what!
I'll have nightmares over some of those shots for a week!!

I think the Vette shot was photoshoped. Every junk yard owner is crazy, but not dumb enough to crush that car.

could be. however the back window is out of the car and it appears that the front windshield is busted up as well. car still has plates and they appear to be from Minnesota.

I also would like to think no one is dumb enough to crush a complete straight vette.( could have a twised frame up front?) Zooming in on that photo shows no evidence of photoshop except the reflection in the mud puddle dosen't look exactly correct?

nice winter conspiracy story.

Chris, I just don't think that photo is real. I know the car is hurt, but the hood is up, it's got a good 8" rally wheel on it, it doesn't even appear to be resting on the forks of the loader and it just seems to be a different quality photo than the rest of the scene. It’s a fiberglass body.......how much is it worth in scrap metal?

Like I said, I know they're crazy, but that dumb?????

OR there's another theory......... Guido and Frankie paid to have the car disappear in a hurry....

Vern, that pic is real. I blew it up to 200%, and what you see are the rocker panel trim pieces on the forks, giving the illusion of it resting higher than it should.
With the hood up and the windshield smashed, I'm guessing that the motor is gone, and that year of 'vette is not worth the price of restoration, or stripping out for parts.
Sad sight to see, though.
