Congrats...these are VERY cool cars! .

Although not like a '67, the '68's have a unique hood too although more subtle...can't wait to see your pics! .

Yea....the 67 is sweet. Here I am on Christmas Eve with sugar plums and bigblocks dancing in my head hoping that Santa had a 68 SS427 in his sack for me!

Pete, my 67 is also a Oshawa-built car 427/385 M40 with engine block heater. No need for that in the States!

I was already admiring your '67 the other night in the background of your engine posting pics Jeff! .

Not to hijack this thread but if you can do it, can you post some close up shots of the hood and trim from inside and out!? .

Maybe Jim can do the same with the '68...I'd love to see more details of both years of these unique hoods!? .

Quick question Jeff on the old 71 pic. Were your louvers on the fenders factory fitted chrome as shown not painted. I have seen them both ways and am not sure which is 100% correct. All depends who I ask

They were chrome. Sherwood Allen used to tune it for me and always got a charge outta what a bad muther it was for a big car. Even had Pos-A-Traction tires on it ~ front and rear! God...I wish I knew where it ended up

(and no....she wasn't me girlfriend! The sea hag in the front seat was the mother of older women who "liked my shifter" when I was just 19....but, thats another Forum! lolololo)
