Thanks Stuart. Your description of " Beastly " is basically what heard and more.

1996Z15 the LX is the name of the block that will be available from GMPP. It will go 454 ci with without any additional clearancing for the crank. Per Stuart the complete motor will be the LS9 a 454 ci LS1 based motor. The LS9 like the LS7 will be available in crate form from GMPP. Going to be in the ZO6 and maybe available in the Camaro.

No doubt this will move the bar up another notch or two.

Here is the engine to look out for . This was in the GM booth at SEMA without much fanfare. It was under the hood of a Denali. This is a LS engine with a Supercharger. I would look for a version of this in the next badass Vette etc. It does't take up much space. A couple aftermarket blower manufacturers were spotted staring at it with huge eyeballs... "uh oh"
