If they have all of the paperwork and it looks legit it seems to be ok... funny thing is if this was a Camaro it would be more than double the price...

IMHO I think that the car is a damn good deal at that number... as long as the engine checks out ok... (no restamps)

[/ QUOTE ] l89 WAS A 396 IN CAMARO AND CHEVELLE 427 IN CORVETTE. For some reason 68 and 69 vettes dont bring strong money in L89 form,even the convertibles. Its a good deal at 30k,but done coupes are well under 100K .

I've always thought they were way too cheap too! .
Remember that one someone advertised here about a year back for like 18 thou w/ original engine? .
They're still a deal and this one sure looks like it's worth a closer look at the paper! .

They only made 390 in 69.
I think that given the performance they are a good buy at the current prices... they really have not gone up by any large amount in the last 3-5 years... they were well under 100k back then and still are a good bit under 100k.
