Default Re: LA Car guys - primers, paint, and finishes?

I have a low mile 1B '69 built LA car and it has a number of differences compared to Norwood. The biggest difference seems to be the amount of primer applied to the body. On the underside of the package tray area it is not bare like Norwood cars, it almost looks dipped because of the almost complete coverage, dk grey/black. The underbody is completely dk grey/black with body color overspray like Norwood. The firewall is competely low gloss black (top too) for my black striped Z28.
The trunk paint is not as fish-eyed looking as Norwood cars, its more long strings of the lighter color in the trunk paint mix.
A lot of variation in both plants thats for sure. Different jack base (no U69) is also original to my car. There must have been different suppliers for some parts.
