This is Al Olster's car which was the automatic car from "Grump's Group". The group was Jenkins and Strickler in the SS/C, Hedrick in SS/E, and Olster in SS/DA. The goal was to dominate the upper SS classes. Olster kept blowing trannys until Vitar cured the problem. Headrick changed to an auto for the Gatornationals as auto class had better break. Jenkins and Strickler had both shown up at the '69 Nat's with autos in there cars (Olster's car was the testbed) and weren't allowed to run as they had competed in 4 spd cars all year.
