Bruce, the big Caddy is a '58, and I believe the Catalina is a '61.
Awesum quality photos, as usual! ![]() Why somebody would put a small block in a Porche is a mystery to me. Why change the front/rear balance when the original motor was strong enough to beat any Chevy at the top end, which is what the car was engineered for. I don't think that adding weight to the rear end when the motor is behing the rear axle would improve quarter mile times. ![]() JMHO ![]()

Thanks Bruce! THat S. Green W30 is one of my favorite 442s in the valley. Talk about an example of opposite ends of the continuum. Luxurious Olds car company and a bare bones, all business drag car with no creature comforts. Owner is a terrific guy too.
