Bruce, the big Caddy is a '58, and I believe the Catalina is a '61.

Why somebody would put a small block in a Porche is a mystery to me. Why change the front/rear balance when the original motor was strong enough to beat any Chevy at the top end, which is what the car was engineered for. I don't think that adding weight to the rear end when the motor is behing the rear axle would improve quarter mile times.

Thanks Bruce! THat S. Green W30 is one of my favorite 442s in the valley. Talk about an example of opposite ends of the continuum. Luxurious Olds car company and a bare bones, all business drag car with no creature comforts. Owner is a terrific guy too.

Great shots Bruce! You teased us a little on the black 442, there was a "for sale" sign on the front seat but you can't see the phone number or price.....it would be a nice christmas present for somebody!
