In conclusion, there is one more person I need to acknowledge, the late Dennis Hartweg. Having a club display at each Chevy/Vettefest, featuring “dealer prepped” cars was his idea. The sYc is only doing our best to keep his dream alive. Because Dennis was so into Gibb cars, I thought it was fitting that one of Dennis’ cars, Tommy K’s Gibb/Harrell Nova, as well as the “First Lady of the Supercar World”, Helen Gibb and her Nova, were featured in the Vettefest media guide and were front and center at the show. Thank you for those words. You know Dennis and I were close friends and I'm sure he's very proud of how things have progressed. I couldn't think of a better person to represent Dennis' cars than Tommy Kusmiesz. Just an all-around Great individual, and a true Ambassador for our hobby. I'm very proud to call Tommy a personal friend as well.
We'll do our best to make you proud Dennis Hartweg!
