Well...in Ca you drive them all year long...in AZ, we take a break, too You know...when it hits 114 out

Ken puts more miles on any one of his cars during one Hot Rod Power Tour...than most of us do in a year! (And I drive my car quite a bit!)

Hey Mr. Cumby...are you supposed to be on the computer?

A Little Update..........The Biscayne had a 3.90 Posi and a Close Ratio Muncie in it .......Nice for Driving around town, but .....Not Practical for my kind Traveling.....So......After "Conferring" with Dr. Webster...It was decided that a 5 or 6 speed would require some Tunnel Surgery and I didn't want to do that.....So..We ordered a Richmond Super T-10 with a 2.88 First Gear, Hurst Shifter assy,New Clutch Disc (Fine Spline)and a 3.08 Ring and Pinion.......With the 2.88 and the 3.08 the ratio is about the same as the old combo, but....Now I can drive the car anywhere......there were some minor issues installing the shift gate to get it to come thru the floor in the correct spot, Back-up Light Switch Hardware that was different (Thanks Crash)...and had to get the Driveshft Shortened, and I also put the correct Shift Boot in while it was apart .......Here are some Pic's from the change over

Changeing the Clutch Disc.......

Even though the trans "Bolted" in....It was about 3/4" longer than the Muncie and required shortening the Driveshaft

Had to make a couple of Adaptor Plates to get the Shift gate in the Proper Place......Had to move it forward and down about a 1/2" in both directions

The T-10 has a different Sideplate so the Back-up light Switch mounting plate needed to be replaced with a later model GM unit...

Continued.........
