Are full-size cars the same way, where there is no paint code? Or do you just want to paint it white verses the "original" color?

Nice work. Good luck!

Dan.......Actually the paint code for the car is "V" which is Cameo Beige.........I just don't like the car that color.......I'm leaning towards White or possibly Sandalwood,or ??????????
Doing the work is easier that picking a color........

Ken.....you really need to paint it what ever color you like and makes you happy. If you like pink, paint it pink, you like sandlewood, paint it sandlewood. Personally, I think that car will look awesome whatever color you paint it.....except pink!

Update..........The Paint shop, after starting to block the car out, decided that the second paint job that was on the car was suspect and we are now going to take the car in for Media Blasting.......They want to start from the bare metal and work up.......I'm getting an education in Chemical (Paint) Compatibility........Oh Well, at least it will be done correctly

Also.......After seeing the original color of the car while sanding (Gobi Beige) and looking at Marlin's car in Chevy Rumble..........I've decided to paint the car back to it's original color as it will be a "Unique" color combo..........So, Marlin......there will be at least two Gobi Beige cars around....LOL

Ken,

Smart move. I know it`s tough to pick a color...the "Correct" color. But you just cannot go wrong with the original color.

Dan.

it seems paint compatability is the new body shop catch phrase. long gone are the days of shooting a car in the yard on a calm day.
here's an article from this months chevy hiperf on just this subject. more smarts for the grey matter.
