.....
...."Matching Numbers" MEANS JUST THAT...and no more...
....the numbers and dates corespond to the date and correct casting numbers that that vehicle came with
..NOT NECESSARILY THE ORIGINAL MOTOR
.......
.....If a car has all the original drivetrain..then they should state that...
.....
... I'm no .....
...just common sense.....
