There really were Black, White & Red stickers. Sorry the picture is so fuzzy. It was taken with a 35mm Argus in '69.

Verne, that 62 is one excellent ride ! What does it look like today? I love those big cars, but they wont fit in my garage.
![]() that was my living room on wheels, fully loaded 396 caprice, bought for $500.00 I told the guy I would give him $600 if he removed those hubcaps !! God what was I thinking !! quarter pedal to the posi on dry ground and we were sideways !! stolen from me in Charleston SC 1985 ![]() the 66 pickup was mine too, famously known as "the dinosaur" chris ![]() |

Do you have a picture of the common repros which look like this one, other than the black ring?
Vern, That is one cool vintage pic! So how did you get the stickers? |

The repro you have here seems to have a Yellow center with a Red ring around it. If they are making/have been making an exact repro I would like to see it yet still want to know why and when the originals of this type were used. |

Honestly, I don't remember. I bought a bunch of parts from Joel back then. I don't think he gave them to me, but they might have been there for sale over the counter. Hell, maybe he did give them to me
It's been so long I just forget. Getting old has it's disadvantages ![]() Verne Chris, I don't want to clutter up this thread with more current pictures of the '62. It doesn't look a whole lot different today except for wheels and tires. (and exhaust) No more headers! My days of racing that car are over. ![]() |
