Bud, I remeber this guy.
Same problem that Evel had, chutes opened waaay to soon, like at the end of the ramp.

Without that, he may have had enough kinetic energy to get to the other side, but we'll never know.

As he asked while being carried to the ambulance, "Did I make it, was the crowd pleased?", the answer seems to be no, and yes.
