If this is the same one that was at Mecum a few weeks ago, I looked at that one very closely. It was described as a 23,000 mile car with factory doc.

There was a low mileage 71 Z28 that sold at BJ this past spring or summer for $87K or around that area. So don't be surprised to see these early 2nd gen cars start climbing. Low miles, matching #'s and good docs will run the prices up quickly. Add the RS and a good color and I wouldn't be surprised to see some cars getting near $100K within the next 6-9 months. But it sure would be nice to see more details on this car like the documents and stampings.

You know I was watching this car and wondering why so much money with so few pictures? Then it dawned on me that if you showed everything then it will get picked apart and you don't get bids.
Well, I don't think the smog system is correct. All 1970 Camaro Z/28's I have seen had the code on a paper sticker not stamped liked this one. And the code was not "AF". It was "E something". Rick H. |

Was that my mistake? being open about the car and showing pictures of everything, I can live with that.

Isnt the seller the same person that had the Briggs car at BJ ??? [/ QUOTE ] Hey, I think I know that guy. Still waiting for some gratuity from him. I sent him two packages of NHRA memorabilia, decals, color photos, and race history for that Ray Allen, Truppi-Kling Chevelle. Some people just don't give a crap, I guess. Chip Gerst (Socalcars) please call me. Nine months and still waiting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I end up telling every little detail I can think of and I know I've lost some sales up front because of it. But every car I've sold the new owner has been more than satisfied because they knew exactly what they were getting. My friend told me I actually talk too much and give too many little details. You'll find the right buyer and you'll both be happy.
