[ QUOTE ]
HQ for the Manual (3 or 4 speed) or HR for a auto PG and HS for a auto T350 Also, if it has the original air cleaner on it, it will be chrome like the SS models. Original Motor and POP will tell for sure, but by what you mentioned (drum brakes) sounds like there is a good chance. Not many other early camaros non ss, non z, non pace that were ordered with 12 bolt ML, Muncie 4 speeds, etc. Does it have a single or dual fuel lines? Rich [/ QUOTE ] The car has dual fuel lines but it doesn't have the original air cleaner. The owner of the motor sold the intake and carb a while back but the complete long block is there.

This should answer most of your questions.
http://www.camaros.org/lm1.shtml I found one minor error in it the other day I still need to correct.....(it's about the SS350 comparison). I'd be intersted in the #'s from the car whenever you get a chance. Thanks!
