Thanks the car is cool and is definatley one of those cars that would be almost impossible to replace. With all the restamp and fake paper work cars out who ever buys this car can be sure they are getting the REAL DEAL.
Here are a few more pics, I do have the exhaust resinators and smog system for the car also. Car also still retains its original CKK rear end. Also pretty rare for such an early car to have factory Cowl Induction not to many people know what it was so they didnt order it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Shouldn't L78 be stamped on the Tag like I've seen on the 69 L78's. Or is that on Canadian cars only?

Fisher Bodys Ontario Canada Oshawa assembly plant stamped Z15(SS-454), or Z25(SS-396),on their Cowl tags for 1970.
I've never seen a 1969 Oshawa built SS L-78 Chevelle. Very nice car Andy. ![]() |

I have yet to see a '69 or '70 Oshawa built L78 or LS6 Chevelle. Our COPO Chevelle and L78 car were built in Baltimore and sold new in Ontario. They did build a few GTO Judges in '70, even Ram Air cars. A friend has one with all the Oshawa paperwork. Rare car.

I was just looking over the build sheet just recently found safe and sound in the back seat of a 40 option LS6, Baltimore built car, which was shipped new to a Canadian dealer and then sold into New York.
It was interesting to see all the options on the GM of Canada paperwork matched the LS6 build sheet as well. The build sheet is so pristine that the "peanut gallery" might consider it a fake. |

Next time I see the car at the local cruise I'll double check. Since crusing is over now, it won't be till spring unless I run into the guys.
