Where are the dates located on the intake and carb?

The intake date in on the underside lowered cross-over section. It will be something like: 3.21.69 Also, the Holley numbers will be on the front of the airhorn ( drivers side ). This is a vertical face that is in the aircleaner region. Steve

mr70,are you sure no 71 Chevelle LS6's? I remember a light blue white stripe car I ran across in 76 that was said to be a LS6.I remember hearing a production # in the teens.

If you saw that around the Virginia/N.Carolina area,I'm pretty sure that was a dealer transplant.Sounds like the same one Sonny & Elmer saw back then too.
