No 1971 LS-6 Chevelles produced for public consumption.
Those 1st 90 days only production 18 1970 L-89 Chevelles used the 842 Aluminum heads,not 074. 1970 L-78 Camaro-Nova-Chevelle & LS-6 Chevelle used that #4492 when equipped w/TH400 trans.,that were NOT sold brand new in the state of Calif.,Nevada,and certain areas of Montana. What is the date code showing on your #4492 carbs air horn? 1970 L-78 Chevelles used that Hi-Rise intake also. What is the date on the #569 intake?..Does the intake have the cylinder No. on each runner?
