Found it...here's the link to the other Thomas thread I was thinking of. .
Comparing these shots, it sure looks like you've at least got Thomas stuff there! .

Looking at the front sub-frame, the style and tube diameter looks really similar also the inner shock mount tab or whatever it is is even still on your car but unused as an outer tab has been added for the shock? .
Comparing the interior dash views, is the 'dash delete' panel an available by order Thomas part...they're both almost exact w/ the double bead even curved lower edge towards the passenger's side? . If not a for sale item they sure look like they've been crafted by the same person? .
Where's some more detail shots, how many screws are holding that dash piece in as I'd doubt they'd be predrilled holes? .
Crazy...is it time to look closly at welds etc. yet? .

What is the info you've uncovered to help you prove it was built by Bill Thomas?

Look Closely at the March 1966 Hotrod pg 84 look at the rear wheel openings they are the same as mine .Then look closely with a magnifing glass at the dash of the car in the article the passenger side has some very distint paint chips on it where the paint diddnt stick to it My car has the exact same paint chips. My dash has never been repainted or touched up from the day it was done .Then look at March Popular Hotrodding 1966 There is an article in it that 1 of the pics shows the firewall with the mastercylinder & line in it They are Identicle to my cars line down to to funny shaped almost kink .More than one person that has seen the car in person remembers it in its original colors ,Im not just talking about at one track .several people have from all over the country .No I do not have a written affidavid from anyone in the Thomas family as of yet But the people that have seen all the pics I have or that have seen the car in person will attest to its authentisity. The car is basically untouched with the exception of the drivetrain changes .But I also have the Original parts as well with the exception of the 4spd shifter the Tachometer & the traction bars which were removed by a previous owner .will this info suffice for now ?? As I said in a previous post I have over 150 Detailed pics of this car from any angle you could imagine to help Identify my Nova .At one point I dismissed the thought of it being the Car in the Novel Nova article do to the gauge holes & the the listed year But upon further inspection theres really no denying it is one & the same car My gauge holes are also the same the only thing different is the year stated .And we all that is a very possible mistake .If anyone is still skeptcle then please dont slam the car or me as I have seen people do in other posts .Do something constructive like help prove that the car definatly is or isnt what I BELIEVE it to be .
