Is that 3rd gen a 1LE?

I've seen some of the 1LE "Players Challenge" cars available here in Canada and they seem like a deal for cars w/ a real race history! .

Actually that RPO was the brainchild of John Heinricy, and was purposely designed for the Players series. That particular car is one of four built in 1988,and quite possibly the first one produced.Modern day COPO'S in every respect IMO.

Here's as link to a few 1LE-Players cars for sale/were for sale...no idea how old this page is? .

http://members.shaw.ca/tunedportinje...for%20Sale.htm

Seems cheap if recent also that good old Canadian documentable thing comes into play. .

I'd expect documents are available for all Camaros built at the St. Therese Canada plant? . The St. Therese plant buildings are all gone now aren't they? .

I'm not sure if St Therese is completley closed, thought I heard the 5th gens were going to be built there. I'm pretty certain all the forth gen cars were built there-The early 1LE cars(88=91) were built at the Van Nuys plant, which closed in 92

Here's a detailed account of them
