I think the frames in the rear where same up to 81 correct? Not a big deal to find a donor car at a yard and cut a section.

I would tend to disagree with this statement. If you find a donor car with good rear frame rails you will be extremely lucky. Not many yards even keep a car that old. I bought a x-drag car from Georgia just so I would have these hard to find parts if I need them in the future. If you can't hit it with a hammer by the spring eye without crushing it or worse putting a hole in it then it needs to be replaced.

You are correct, the framerails are not the same from 70-81. I believe only 70-73 only will work and finding them is almost impossible.
