Default Re: 1970 Nova SS 427 Converted at Nickey

leach,

Cool Car but with all of the postings on it I am still confused as to EXACTLY what paperwork does this car have to support the fact that it is a Nickey conversion in the sense that would make it a supercar. Don't take this the wrong way but because a car had engine work at Nickey does not consitute it as a supercar. IN MY OPINION a car that was prepared as a 427 street racer and sold new that way would make it a true supercar. There could maybe some exceptions like a guy buys a Nova at some other dealer and imediately takes it to Nickey and has it converted within the first couple of months, but even that borders a grey area IMO. Other than that to consider a car a supercar because it had an engine added to it some time later in it's life by Nickey would just make it a cool day 2 Nova.

I don't mean any disrespect, just trying to find out what you are considering this car or have docs to back it up as.
