Already at $50k for a X drag car that need a complete resto and doesnt have the original drivetrain?? Im sure its worth a pretty penny when done but the price seems really steep to me with all that time left on the auction. Who knows maybe Im missing something??

Now the bid is $60,399. What would it cost to do a nut and bolt on this car? Then you just need the original motor and tranny. What's this car worth? Is anyone from this board bidding on this car? If so PM me.

Charley, I am not going to draw conclusions like Don has made, but PontiacHomeSlice has bid on DanStreetRods cars before. I do not think it is so uncommon but makes you think.

I happen to love buying from the same people on ebay because you know who you are dealing with. Several people here bid on the same types of items from the same people. It might be true that something fishy is going on, but could also be a legit bid.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220017166607

look at the bidder's lists.

CHARLIE,I WILL TRY TO EXPLAIN WHAT I SAID. ITS A LONG STORY SO BEAR WITH ME. I GO ON THE PY PONTIAC SITE. NOW A GUY A FEW WEEKS AGO WAS ASKING HOW MUCH A 70 TA RAM IV CAR WAS WORTH,HE THEN PUTS IT ON EBAY WHERE I THINK HE GOT AROUND 40K FOR IT. HE SAYS ALSO THAT HE WILL HAVE OTHER CARS FOR SALE ALSO. THE L89 CAR HERE IS ALSO ONE OF HIS CARS THAT HE IS SELLING. HIS NAME ON THE PONTIAC SITE IS PONTIACHOMESLICE WHICH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE THE NAME OF THE HIGH BIDDER ON THE CAMARO. CAN YOU NOW SEE WHAT HE'S DOING?
THIS IS DEFINETLY WHAT WRONG WITH THIS BUISNESS OF MUSCLE CARS ANYMORE. THESE GUYS JOIN SITES TO EDUCATE THEM,EVERYONE OPENS UP AND TELL THEM ITS WORTH AND THEN THEY STICK IT TO YA EVERYTIME. IVE SPENT A LIFETIME TO GET MY KNOWLEDGE BUT THESE GUYS GET IT FOR FREE AND GUESS WHAT,THEY USE IT TO GET RICH QUICK. EVERYBODY SELLS CARS TO BETTER THEMSELVES,I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND USING PEOPLE LIKE THAT. CHECK OUT THE PONTIAC SITE AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.....SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS...
