We all thought it was going to be a real mess getting out of the Convention hall....The doors opened at 6:00 and we waited for about 5 minutes and drove the cars right out...had the car loaded in the Trailer and I was on the Highway and 6:25.........
From my own Personal point of view, I think this location is much better than McCormack Place.....Next year I'm sure getting into the Hall will be a little better, but from my perspective it was still a lot easier than getting into McCormack Place was last Spring.......Way to go Mr. Ashton
Again, to all that were there, it was a "Pleasure" to meet everyone

Ken

Kwhizz EH! Gwawa too!

If those who took pictures can refrain from posting pics of Kenny Pascoe's wonderful L78...I'd appreciate it!

It will be a Members Rides...coming up really soon!

Couldn't possibly agree more Ken. I was very skeptical of Bob's promise that we would be out at his scheduled time. Don & Judi Stowers and Vicki & I were out of the building, loaded in the trailer, strapped down and on I-294 headed South at 6:45 Sunday Evening. That was unbelievable! Like Frankie, I was a little concerned about the move to Rosemont but, based strictly on my experience these past four days, it was the perfect move.

Mr. Ashton, you did a Bang-Up job. There was never an unanswered question, or an issue that wasn't handled immediately. We salute you, (even in your title of "Honorary Geezer".) I certainly don't envy you in the position you handle so well, but YOU, Vicki, and the entire staff are to be commended repeatedly. Always a smile, always a few seconds to chat and yet, ever 'on the job'. Thank You Sir!

And the rest of the folks at the show............. Just let me quadruple all the kind and thankful words that have been posted before. EVERYONE we talked to; old friends and those we met for the first time, were fantastic. It's always a true pleasure to hang with the sYc bunch, no matter what part of the country they're from. Heck, even Bill Pritchard popped in for a few minutes! And my Buddy Rick Nelson's surprise intervention............ , I guess I just can't believe ANYTHING you tell me from now on, eh? The SCRs and the Gibb Shows have already become 'Family Reunions' to most of us, and it appears that we may want to add VetteFest to that list.

Bruce, I have a bunch of pix myself, including Tom's Race Car. Finally took some time to walk around Sunday with Vicki and we grabbed 100 or so shots, including the Nickey display. Let me know what you might be missing and maybe I can help out.

Hope everyone has/had a safe trip back home, and that you all have a Happy Holiday later this week!

Thanks to all of you for making it a Great Weekend! And YES, we still GET IT!

Cumby, you likely knew I was coming only a few minutes after I did! lol But I will say the way I surprised you was worth EVERY penny and the 12 hours of drive time. A classic to be sure! And thanks to Don for helping.

I also thought that this center would likely be nicer after some of the bugs were worked out that I heard about. It was a little more crammed and noisy but over all a lot cheaper than staying at McCormick.
