9737 & 9738 ? When were the orders placed datewise? I believe Yenko was earlier.....Remember Don got the COPO program (as we know it) rolling in 66 & 67....I do have a news add from Gibb dated July 26 1968 stating "The 50 are here"..sales recorded on 7/31/68...(per Ed C.) The 9737's were still built/sold first....The last few built during 07E...when the 50 9738's arrived..Sound about right?
FWIW...I believe the Gibb order had a bigger racing impact than the 9737 in 68....Then came 69 and everyone was in on it .. ![]() Steve |
