I'd like to see everyone list their best ET's from the track.

I made a single *granny* pass with my buddy's boy riding shotgun in our Y-Nova, was a low 14-something I believe, as I made him get the slip from the booth and hang onto it...dad went a 12.36 @ 113.6 right out of the trailer in our Y-Camaro, after sitting dormant for a full year...but as nice as the temp was the air was horrible...no rain, though!

I know the GSS guys have a pile of slips, as do the Deuce guys...did anyone get a picture of Gerling's Y-Camaro ET slip? That thing is rediculous...I think he went 10.70s with it!

Probably so. He ran a 10.88 @ 115.38 the first round in the Bracket Race. I was the 'victim'.

Dan,

This is Greg Cullum`s 300 Deluxe Postsedan Baldwin Motion Clone...look for it to be displayed at the next Chevy Vette Fest in Rosemont, IL.

This car was duplicated using all the correct hard to find Baldwin Motion Phase III components....including Holley 950 / 3 barrel, Edlebrock 427 intake, phase III box, Steel 2 piece bell housing. Next year we will race it down the track at SCR10.

Dan.

Looks like a little red light to go with the air. Cool picture. That must have been a blast.

I was mostly running low 14's while I was trying to get used to the car (I was catching z's at the line). Later on John and I went to the line together and I managed to get a 13.84 @105.79 on the Indy Profiles. Breaking into the 13's and not breaking the car was my goal for the day was my goal so I was happy.

Just wanted to say thanks again to the Alton gang for all the hard work they put in 365 to make the SCRs the greatest show on earth.

This was my 9th reunion, and certainly one of the best. It's always nice seeing everyone having such a great time at the track and simply enjoying the Supercars we all love. Even after attending every single SCR since the start back in '98...every year seems like a new event, as it truly is the people, personalities, and shared stories that really do it for me. I always learn something new, meet someone new, and see at least a few cars that I've never seen before. The experience and excitement everyone shares always makes the trip worth it.

Already looking forward to next year's 10th anniversary show, and if you missed the reunion this year, shame on you, but all the more reason to start making plans now to get there next year.

One last thanks must go out to LVCamaro for providing EVERYONE in attendance with a great embroidered sYc hat even when he couldn't make the show himself. A nice gesture I wish I could have thanked you for in person Steve.

Another fantastic show and was great to see everyone. My Nova ran an ET of 13.02 @ 108.5 mph. It should go mid 12's with a new driver.
I did manage a 0.003 reation time and then promptly blew the 1-2 shift. Looking forward to SCR10.

Hey I'm home finally! And I have an iinternet connection again.

Like it has been said already...it was great to see everyone again...and some for the first time. Thanks to everyone who put so much hard work into the event...I know what it's like to do someting like that!

It was great seeing Ken and Paulette Tibor, Dan Vasic, Charley, Gags, Colin, Mike G., Stefano, Dennis Cumby and his gal, Rick Nelson, Annie, Eddie Martin and his wife, Darren, Verne, COPO Anders, Joe Swezey, my neighbor Bill Edel, Steve Shauger, Mark Hassett, Dave C and his cool LS6 Convertible (that he asked me to back into the convention center ), Helen Gibb and Nancy, Don Stowers, Ken Barnhart and his wife, John Platania, Tommie K, Schoyne....the "great" Bob Ashton and the list goes on and on...

I had a major blast!

Also, I'd like to thank the excellent auctioneer Joe Barr for his tremendous effort in the auction. Don't take this wrong Tom...but you're fired as auctioneer . Joe did a great job and the SCR gang raised over 3500 dollars for the Children's Heart Fund.

Hey Bob...nice to see and talk with you at the airport this morning.

Pics coming up as soon as I can get them loaded into photobucket...
