Thanks Warren!
I've always thought LS-6's amazing itself and the ZR-2 thing simply unbelieveable to still have been available in 1971!!! . I'd expect the racing sucess of cars like the Heinz/Johnston 'Rebel and Delorenzo's O-C group also Greenwood and others had something to do with this RPO performance 'stay of execution' for 1971? . I think Yenko on occasion co-drove both the Rebel (crashing it) and one of the O-C cars...not sure on the Greenwood cars? . Is it known what the breakdown of coupes and roadsters of the dozen ZR2 cars shipped was also how long of a build window production was? . Since you're a Corvette guy, I've been wondering lately about the '66 L88 cars and of course Yenko's involvement and car...yes the 1966 L88's (production was maybe as much as 20 cars as a COPO?). . I know of the Penske coupe also the one that survived that was shipped to Yenko but for another racer (I forget his name...a white rdstr.) but do you know or anyone else know what else has surfaced and was Yenko's own car a factory 1966 L88? . ![]() ~ Pete
