my dad bought a new caprice in 1966 with a 396 in it....and it just happens to be sitting out back...I think that would be the prefect engine for this car.

Now that would be one helluva shakedown run!

Mo, If you're up for it, I'll ride shotgun!

Oscar's place, Now that's cool. Kinda reminds me of Bob's country bunker. Any old bar bills in there with Howie's name on em?
Try to be careful with that rust around the rear side window area. They get pretty thin there, and unless there's one out new, no one was repoping a panel for that area.
Somehow I just don't see you making it a tame restoed driver.
Since you're in our area, I'd invite you to join the Eastern Ia. chapter of NNN. Our area goes way down there. Ray Morrison is one of us, as is Mrs Gibb,(honorary).Nova people help other nova people. :bigthumbup

You know where we're at. Just hollar. I still think those cars with a 69 Z 302 and adequate tire are the best pound for pound street brawler ever. They don't weigh squat. Just not any clearence for big meats without gettin a little crazy. If I can find it, I'll send a picture of the lil stinker chevy ll that won the world series at Cordova a couple of times to Bruce to post.

I have a blown 350 that I ran in a pulling rig that I could put in the car. I would rather run the big block if I could sell the blown setup.
