Maurice.....300 lb weight requirement???!!!!!!! That is a boat load of chocolate I am gonna have to eat between now and race day! I promise to not run you over at the start line although I have been told I don't see as well as I used to but I think a certain old goat is just trying to get me to stay home.

On a more serious note, please take Rob's encouragement to heart. Last year was the first time I took a car down the track and it was FANTASTIC! Times don't really matter, being safe and having fun DO matter. I was so nervous I almost had to drop out as my legs were shaking so bad I could hardly keep them on the pedals! Half way through the 1st pass I was hooked! Made two more runs and have been excited about this year ever since. And Rob is right, there are plenty of fellow racers and members more than willing to lend a hand and/or answer any questions. I am sure if Andrew is announcing again this year, he will even walk you up to the start line and give you a few pointers. If he isn't available, I know Big Bad Mo, Tom, Rob and several others will do the same.
