Quite a stretch to call this legit based on 3 Motion emblems and SS427 emblems. I ordered that stuff out of Joel's catalog when I was in High School in the '70's like hundreds or even thousands of others did. Paperwork, owner history, and physical inspection will be the key on this one. Given the auction ended quickly, perhaps someone got a favorable NICB report and took a calculated gamble. I see a familiar name amongst the bidders. Cool find if it turns out to be real.
My 69 BM Camaro and 67 BM Chevelle both came out of Stratford, CT. |

I would love to see this turn out to be one of Joels Warriors.
Seeing as the seller actually listed the VIN# publicly, maybe someone willing to take a chance, contacted Joel immediately and forwarded him his authenticating fee while submitting that VIN#. Thus auction ended early.. ![]() |

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, check the seller's phone number on google and you will see he has been selling and looking for other Chevy items. Just a guess that if it was a true Motion car he would have already verified it.

Would an Atlanta car have ever been delivered to Baldwin in NY? I guess it would be possible but what about probable?

I was under the impression that Joel doesn´t have any VIN-lists. That he has to see the car to verify it, unless there are documents with it.
