Wow, so its a known code. Thats what my car is..an L36/M20. I wonder why the use of a different code than regularly used for L36/M20?..seems weird to make a code just for the sake of making a code.
Are there any peculiarities to your engine? I only have block, heads and intake and distributor so I still need to round up a carb and exhaust manifolds and smog stuff. also there is no gas tank in my car so I need to find that hard to get tank sender with two pipes. ![]() Mark.

I don´t know if this is off subject but in the early sixties the Canadian-built engines didn´t even have an ordinary suffix-code, just a number. I believe the pic I have attached is of the enginenumber, not the partial VIN. The partial VIN was not stamped on the pad on the engines I have seen.
