Since it currently has no interior, I would go with a triple black combo. A black vinyl top, body, and interior would look killer.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say.......Paint it whatever the trim tag says... More than likely it is some cool 60's earth tone seldom seen today...Or... be like the other 99 million Chevelles and go red,blue,black....yawn....Green,gold and brown....

I vote for the wild 60's paint job (you know, lace patterns, flames, gold leaf, etc) or the mid 80's street freak wild paint schemes with all of the candy colors...dare to be different!

Deepwater Blue is close to my Danube Blue, and that looks great. I also like Grenada Gold.. not a fan of the traditional RED or Marina Blue, White, Butternut Yellow, etc...

Mountain Green is cool also!

Here's some reference pics

I'm partial to tuxedo black and "grape" (royal plum) myself.

Although I like Bruce's old custom paint idea, what about Fathom Blue or whatever the color Dana's '68 Yenko car was special ordered in? .
