Boats are great sources for highperformance Chevy engineparts. The LS-6 engine I used to have was built for Volvo Penta. I looked at a Volvo Penta 305 the other day. It had an aluminum intake that looked higher than ordinary LT-1 intakes, and carried a Volvo part#.
Welcome Steve

that is a genuine Chevy 454 (now 468) LS6 . It was at no point removed from any car for the boat, that was the boats factory original engine, although recently almost found its way into a 68 corvette. It has spent its entire life in a classic 24ft Spectra V-drive. The engine and boat are owned by friends of mine.
