I painted my 70 camaro about 70-80% glossy . I think it's very close.

I think I'm going to try that.

Thank you everyone for you input.

I am wondering just how much waxing and polishing contributes to the glossiness of the tailpanel?? Especially if you use a rotary buffer or a coarse polish/wax.

I am not so sure it is suppose to be a gloss color. I think it's along the same lines as the rocker panel black out.

Just like NOT polishing or waxing contributes to it looking flat... but all you really have to do is look at the black inside and behind the area of the trunk rubber, there was never any waxing, buffing, or polishing there.

Very deep Grasshopper: If a tree is painted semigloss black in the forest and no one is there to wax it, is it still semigloss black?

All righty then, all we need is someone to post two pictures of their original blacked out tail panel. One showing the back and one showing under any spot not covered by wax, polish, etc..

Anyone, Buehler, Buehler, anyone?

Can somebody find Rick the previous thread so we don't have to go through this again?
