I will have my original paint 69L34 at the Camaro National @ Carlisle in the Y building with the Vintage Certified cars. You are welcome to inspect the tail panel.

Steve,
Mind if I take a small paint scraping ( sample ) for color testing? It's an old car! Who cares!! ![]() Steve

It has enough scratches over the years. Looking forward to seeing you, and hoping my car answers some of your questions. I know we have been trying to get together for over four years.

I am wondering just how much waxing and polishing contributes to the glossiness of the tailpanel?? Especially if you use a rotary buffer or a coarse polish/wax.
I am not so sure it is suppose to be a gloss color. I think it's along the same lines as the rocker panel black out. Rick H. |

[/ QUOTE ] Just like NOT polishing or waxing contributes to it looking flat... but all you really have to do is look at the black inside and behind the area of the trunk rubber, there was never any waxing, buffing, or polishing there.
