It's stamped on the edge of the bellhousing of the transmission on the drivers side at about the 10 oclock position for a GM assembly plant car (like a Norwood Camaro). Or on the machined pad on the drivers side of the transmission between the shifter lever and speedometer connection for a GMAD assembly plant car (like an LA built Camaro).
