I have noticed that cars sent from Canada to Sweden had the W89, X14 and X17 options.

Export cars came from Norwood, not LA. Probably brought over by one of the owners prior to you.

Thanks for the input guys!! The Military route is what I always figured but you never know (they get cars shipped for free). That's why I was hoping Broadcast codes might be some sort of an indicator.
I'll post this message on the CRG website and see what those guys can dig up.......
Thanks again, Charlie

Wow, those are cool ads !!!
And they are advertising buying new 1970 model GM cars yet show pics of a '69 Camaro and Corvette. You stated it's from Sept of '69, but would that happen to be a January 1970 date code on the bottom of the Ad?
The reason I ask is because one of my old '69 Corvettes (LeMans Blue, just like in the photo, hmmm) was actually completed in January of 1970 at the factory (fully documented, even though the main production run had ended in December of '69). It took me years to get the DMV to change the registration to show it was a 1969 model year and not a 1970 Corvette......
Always curious about these things.........
