The documents he has shown may in fact be originals. I would like to see if he can duplicate the ones shown. Also the points you make are valid. There are usually mistakes made that can identify fraudulent documentation.

ok, someone ID this guy and post up who it is, anomonymously of course and let the net black ball him all over the boards...sounds a little harsh but this is really wrong.

Easiest way to find him, would be hit the buy-it-now on his "aged" tank sticker, then get his info for the money order.
The payment will get lost in the mail, of course. ![]() Then you have his name and address. |

In the latest Hemmings Muscle Machine issue, a scammer got caught making a hemi cuda out of a 383 car. He had VIN tags and Galen documentation made up. He faces a long jail time.

This seems to me also to be totally wrong and exclusively designed for the use of misleading any future buyers of these cars. This is purely a deceptive practice and fraud in my opinion. His disclaimer "NOTE : THESE DOCUMENTS ARE MADE WITH THE INTENT OF PERSONAL DISPLAY AND NOVELTY USE ONLY AND NOT INTENDED FOR RESELLING OF CARS" is as transparent as air. Scammer pure and simple. Wonder if someone will try documenting a Canadian shipped or built car and then try and sell a clone as the Real McCoy? Maybe the GM Pontiac division in the US who have their VIN records like GM Canada should talk to the other US divisions and see if all the other VIN's still exist and if so, bring them out to protect today's and previous buyers. If that happened the courts would be backed up for years. It sure would bring down the price of the fakes that are pretending to be real. This stuff just makes me puke

Like I said in the previous thread on this guy, he is the Lex Luthor of the Chevy world! . His disclaimer is hard to dispute....like a gun shop can sell the guns and bullets but it's the person using them that's in trouble? . He's very detailed even buying specific paper in past auctions....I wouldn't be surprised if he's reading all we say now too? . PM's would be best if someone sees anything he's doing incorrectly so he can continue the same way. .
Somehow lets get his real name posted and go from there. . Prototype is in Calgary too....Fred do you know who Lex really is? . Mark, I've read before that the US Vin shipping invoices are supposed to be in paper format filling a bunch of train boxcars somewhere? . Existing isn't enough as even if it's true there's a few lifetimes of labour going through it to organize in a format that would make looking up cars by Vin or ship dates a possibility? . Personally I think they're on microfishe somewhere too but so far nothing? . ~ Pete
