Default Re: Another new "barn find" - '67 Z-28

I got some more history on the car and thought that I would post it here to see if it jogs anyone's memory...In 1976 the car was being driven to Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and was black with no stripes at the time. It developed a noisy rear axle and was sold to Scott P. Scott restored the car and showed it at the 1977 World of Wheels car show where it took best of show. He added the Cowl hood, spoilers, Z-28 emblems and chrome underhood. I spoke to the fellow who painted the car and he said it was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, Scott passed away and although his family has been great at trying to get me more info on the car, I am stuck at this point! Anyone remember the car????

As for the car, it is up here now and we are stripping it currently. It is scheduled to go into the bodyshop in November and should be back for final assembly in May or June. My son and I can't wait to get it back
