Default Re: How about a good barn find ls5 chevelle story?

I purchased the car from the 3rd owner. He had owned the car since 1974. He purchased from the 2nd owner. I spoke with the original owner yesterday and he worked for GM for 35 years. He had always wondered what happened to the car. He ordered the car through Harold Chevrolet in minnesota as a courtesy car. The car was ordered with bench seat, auto on the column, tilt wheel, gauges, deluxe belts,am 8 track, heavy duty cooling, cowl induction, and door edge guards.he sold the car to his brother in law after about a year. the car had a few minor mods done to it and then he sold to the 3rd owner in 74. The third owner and his wife drove it until 77 and then parked it. The car has all of its original drivetrain. the prtecto-plate was still in the glove box. the owner had pulled the gas tank down and found the buildsheet. upon bringing it home i was able to find 2 more buildsheets in the car as well. All original sheetmetal on the car with no rust. This car is extremely clean inside and out.
