I'll need to check the rear. Original owner put a 4.56 in the unit for drag racing.

Ok, I think the 4.10 rear in '70 would be a special ordered item - which is why I asked about the code. The Deuces have these special ordered rears with a unique code only found on the copo novas, but I would not be surprised if some big blocks with special ordered 4.10 rears would have received the same code.

A couple new pictures of the Nova going into hibernation.

Next is my new desktop picture.

Going into its stall.

Covered and resting.

And the stablemate for the winter,my buddys German conversion VW coupe to convertible. Will be a cool car when done.

Thats it for now.Dryer sheets going in this week to keep any varmits out. Also have three outside cats that patrol the barn regularly.
Now is when I wished I lived out by Xplantdad so I didnt have to put it in hibernation for 4-5 months.

I don't want to start another thread war here BUT,

that build sheet above is bogus..

question > since when did GM make an M40 4 speed auto trans??

answer > NEVER.

it was an M40 T400 3 speed auto trans. option in 1970. Period, end of subject.

unless, of course, i'm reading that sheet wrong...

Kendall, get yourself a "Car Jacket" for that baby....looks like a big vinyl sleeping bag. You lay it out on the floor and drive the car on it, then cover with cloth cover and zip up the bag. They include moisture absorbing packets with the bag. I over inflate the tires, WD-40 as needed, dryer sheets in and out along with the moisture bags, remove battery, Sta-bil in fuel, good coating of rubber and vinyl treatment and some wax on the outside and put her to bed. You can get the bags from Wayne bushey at National Nostalgic Nova..717-252-4192. I use them on all our cars and they work great!!!

6161x11,You are correct the bikes are way to close to the Nova. That is this weeks job to move them to the other side of the barn. It's just resting right now not in the final position.
Tom,I always said if I ever got a nice car I wanted one of those capsules.Maybe the wife will by us one for X-mas .Maybe I should talk to Kwizz to see how you train those wives!! Oops I think my wife already has me trained.Yes dear!!!!
