1967 Z28 built in L.A.-Jan. 1967??

I have stumbled on a barn find that appears to a 1967 Z28, but from reading could be a 350 car. The Z28 book says no 67 Z28's came out of the L.A. plant in Jan. of 67. Trim tag says 01B. If this is the case then I guess it is not a Z28. Engine orig. but decked, white on red RS 4 speed. One red paint over white can't see stripes without digging. Thanks
