Default Re: bumper bolts

Then you missed my reply....

The hardware you are looking for was originally all Cad plated. Bright zinc will work as well.

The lower bolsts are 7/16"-14 x 1" Long, Cadmium Finish, Bolt, Hex Head. Flat washer, star lock washer, and hex nut. The heads should not have any lines indicating grade of bolt and will have "M", "RBW", or "TR" markings on the head.

The upper bolts are 7/16"-14 x 1" Long, Cadmium Finish, Bolt, Round Head Square Neck. The threaded end of the bolt will have "A" marked on th end. Flat washer, star lock washer, and hex nut.

I have seen both the fine pointed star lock washer and the fat pointed star lock wahser used.

AMK has good stuff but it helps to know what to look for.

Listen to Tom on who to call. and ask him if he has AMK stuff....
