I was filling the diesel at the Citgo on U.S. 12 just south of the bridge in Fox Lake today. Right beside me was 110 octane race fuel @ $3.99 (containers only).

I haven't been uptown Barrington recently (IL 59 between U.S. 14 and Lake-Cook Rds.) but I will check the next time I head into town...you can pump directly into your vehicle there.

Stay tuned.

I have been buying 110 from the Citgo in Fox Lake for $3.99 a gallon. You have to use a container. Thanks for the tip.

Anyone know of any stations that sell the leaded 110 in the western suburbs ? I already know about the 100 octane unleaded places. Thanks.

Thorton at Lake Street(Rt. 20) and Bryn Mayr in Hanover Park had 100 octane unleaded last year at one pump. Have not been back to see this year if they still have it.

My Chevelle's engine was restored with soft valve seats so I have been adding 12 oz. of this to each tank for 12 years now.It seems to work best for me in terms of price & function compared to everything else out there.

I recommend it.
