Since your boss bought it, I guess it's worth whatever he wound up paying for it Look at it this way - 69 Z28's routinely sell for $80 - $100K any more, and look how many of them were made vs. 602 67's

Andy, the '67 Z/28 was not intended to be a drag car; it was built to comply with homologation rules for the SCCA TransAm series (closed-circuit road racing). Once multiple carburetion was permitted for the 1968 race year, the Roger Penske/Mark Donohue team won the series for both 1968 & 1969. Incidentally, these cars can be made to run in the 12's.

In Car and Driver March 1967, a 67 Z28 turned 14.9 in the quarter mile in stock trim. Results shown below:

Car and Driver October 1996 reran the tests using Jerry MacNeish's freshly restored stock 1967 Z28, this time comparing it to a new '96. Results were the same as 19 years earlier. Click on the thumbnail below to read the whole article:

Bill with all due respect 69 Z's do not routinely sell for 80 -100k. You mean more like 40-50k. Regards, SG

Danny, I sent you an email yesterday...2 '67 Z's have become available one red and one black (neither are mine BTW). If you aren't interested, please let me know and I'll offer them to others that are looking.
